Lists of county health officers and their beats, 1896-1898.

This series appears to have been kept by the dept. as a method of keeping track of the county and beat health officers. Each county was further divided into beats and the health officers were responsible for collecting and forwarding to the health dept. all vital information (i.e., births and deaths).
